With Flora Batava as a luxurious base, you can explore the province of Utrecht. Of course there is plenty to do in the bustling city of Utrecht. Enjoy the unique restaurants and bars right on the Oudegracht, the famous Dom tower, the various museums, the Tivoli Vredenburg concert hall and the various nice shops for a day of shopping.

In addition, there is the beautiful nature of the green Utrechtse Heuvelrug, where you can enjoy walking and cycling, both on a ‘normal’ bicycle and with a racing bicycle or mountain bike. Or pay a royal visit to Soestdijk Palace and eat pancakes in the idyllic village of Lage Vuursche, where Princess Beatrix lives in Drakensteyn Castle.

Close to Flora Batava you can visit several beautiful castles, windmills and country estates. The medieval castles tell the story of the battle between the bishop of Utrecht and the count of Holland for control of the river. At 11 km from Flora Batava you will find the monumental Kasteel De Haar, the largest and most luxurious castle in the Netherlands. In addition, the country estates remind us of the golden age. Even then, the Vecht region was a popular place to stay. Here you will find, among other things, Buitenplaats Doornburgh, this country estate has existed since the 17th century.

View our various modern, attractive rooms, all of which have large windows, beautiful lamps and special art. Each room or suite has its own special features, such as original beamed ceilings or a view of the Vecht.

Combine a luxurious stay at Flora Batava with a city trip to Utrecht with this package including public transport ticket and city guide or choose one of our other packages.
